Where Is My Flying Car?! Test Automation in the Space Age

The Jetsons have traveled from the future to check on our progress towards an automated world!

We are living in the space age – portrayed by the animated 60s sitcom, The Jetsons, as the era where just about everything was automated. The futuristic television show predicted some of the inventions we see today like robots, holograms, 3D printed objects, smart devices, and drones.

However, we are quite a ways off from the complete promises of the automated eutopia. Let’s explore how these far-fetched ideas parallel with the ones we see in the software testing community.

In this talk, we’ll take a look at the problems of our past, review the present state of the industry, and discuss predictions for the future.
