Nazlie is a Quality Assurance Manager at Canadian Pacific Railway, Calgary, where she is responsible for the DevOps and quality engineering of a variety of software systems. She leads quality engineering and testing activities in SAP and other applications, develops growth and achievement of team members while promoting team collaboration, determines and records performance management objectives and plans periodic assessment for team members.

Her professional goal is to help organizations continually improve the quality of their processes as well as of their products by establishing best practices, creating relevant documentation, and selecting appropriate tools.

She is a Professional Engineer, Certified Project Manager Professional, Scrum Master, and Distinguished Toastmaster with over 20 years of experience working in different industries. Nazlie is a co-author of more than 20 scholarly publications on a variety of topics in books, conferences, and journals on a variety of topics related to software engineering and beyond.

Nazlie has been involved closely with American Society for Quality (ASQ) where she served in different executive roles. She also has been a member of the Calgary Agile Method User Group (CAMUG), Association of Professional Engineers, and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), Toastmasters International, and League of Railway Women (LRW).  She was a mentor at League of Railway Women (LRW). She has been part of the Chick Geek community and helping pathfinder reach their goals. She enjoys helping the new generation reach their full potential.
